Plastic Packaging’s Columbus, OH Plant Is Named a 2020 IndustryWeek Best Plants Finalist

Plastic Packaging Technologies’s Columbus plant has been named one of only six nationwide finalists for the 2020 IndustryWeek Best Plants Awards competition. This is the 31st year of the Best Plants Award. Finalists are chosen for “key components of operational excellence,” including a “collaborative, team-based approach; engaged leadership; an unrelenting desire to improve; and robust performance measures.”

We are honored to be a finalist, especially in a year where manufacturers have had to rise to meet so many challenges. This success has been made possible by our outstanding team of associates in Columbus, who live out our core values of passionate persistence for results and relentless pursuit of excellence through continuous improvement.

The winners will be announced later this year and will be honored at the Manufacturing & Technology Conference, which will be held on Nov. 9-11, in Cleveland, Ohio. Whether we take home the award or not, we are incredibly proud of the employees and management who are the reasons why our Colombus plant is one of the best in the nation!
