PPT Breaks Ground on New 130,000-Square-Foot “Center of Excellence for Flexible Pouching”

There’s big news at Plastic Packaging Technologies (PPT)—130,000 square feet big!

On December 4, we broke ground on the Center of Excellence for Flexible Pouching in Kansas City, Kansas. The Center is strategically located in the heart of America to serve rapidly growing food, pet care and consumer packaged goods markets.

The new facility will expand our manufacturing space by 130,000 square feet and add three new Totani® pouch converting lines. This significant investment will broaden our product offerings and support sustainable packaging initiatives through our Thrive™ eco-friendly packaging line.

In addition to new services and capabilities, the expansion will also add a number of skilled-labor positions to the local economy. The project is slated for completion in mid-2021.
